IPA Metall Werks provides industrial composite 3D printing using our Markforged X7, producing strong, lightweight, dimensionally stable parts for tooling, fixtures, prototypes, brackets, workholding, and end-use industrial applications.
The X7 prints with Onyx, Markforged’s chopped carbon-fiber nylon material, and can add continuous fiber reinforcement where additional stiffness, strength, or durability is required. This makes it possible to produce functional composite parts that bridge the gap between plastic prototypes and machined metal components.
Our composite printing service is ideal for fast-turn tooling, production aids, inspection fixtures, durable prototypes, lightweight brackets, and practical shop-floor components where conventional machining may be slower or more expensive.
Ideal Use Cases:
• Custom jigs and fixtures
• Lightweight replacement parts
• Functional prototypes and form-fit-check parts
• Pre-machining prototypes before committing to metal
• End-use industrial parts
• Low-volume production components
• Soft jaws, grippers, and workholding aids
Serving San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties.
