The X7 prints with Onyx, Markforged's chopped carbon-fiber nylon material, and can add continuous fiber reinforcement where additional stiffness, strength, or durability is required. This makes it possible to produce functional composite parts that bridge the gap between plastic prototypes and machined metal components.
Our composite printing service is ideal for fast-turn tooling, production aids, inspection fixtures, durable prototypes, lightweight brackets, and practical shop-floor components where conventional machining may be slower or more expensive.
